This is the Terms and Conditions “Policy” of DirectApps Technology Solutions. This policy applies only to the “online” payments DirectApps is processing on its app (“DirectSchool”) and does not apply to payments that happened “offline” or unrelated to the (“DirectSchool”) app.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions and the transactions contemplated hereby shall be governed by, and construed and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
User Payment
The app accepts user’s payment through Visa or Mastercard debit and credit cards for schools’ tuition fees and services payments. Payments processed via the app are also governed by the terms and conditions of respective school.
We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.
Customer using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.
User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account.
Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.
Paying for Services and Fees:
PAYMENT DEDUCTION
User is charged once he confirmed the payment process in the app. The Company will not seek the confirmation before processing a payment from a school or service provider that payment been done for it.
CURRENCY OF TRANSACTION
The displayed price and currency on the app, will be the same price and currency charged to the Card and printed on the Transaction Receipt. Where VAT or optional extras apply, the transaction amount will be shown to the user as “Total to pay”.
PAYMENT CONFIRMATION
The app user will receive payment confirmation by email on the registered email address of his account, through a notification sent in the app, or both. The confirmation will be sent after the payment has been processed as soon as practically possible, also always all receipts available for download in the App.
REFUNDS
For refund the user need to issue a refund request for a certain payment within 24 hours of the payment time. User will need also a refund confirmation from the paid school within three days of the payment time to return the requested refunding payments, the Company will refund the payment full amount to the user. It is the responsibility of the User to ensure to bring such cases to the attention of the Company by emailing feedbackpayments@directapps.io within 24 hours of the payment time.
Refunds will be made as credits to the users registered account on DirectSchool or onto the original mode of payment.
